Dave spent over 10,000 hours painting the first original “Portraits of Honour” that is 42’’ feet long and 9’’ feet in height. He continues to paint our Canadian Peacekeepers that have fallen while representing Canada and helping other countries get through their turmoil.
Dave continues to paint our First Responders that have lost their lives in the line of Duty, and presents their family with the painting at no cost to them.
The Portraits of Honour crew takes to the roads to go into schools in Ontario with a replica of the painting, a power point presentation along with the artist to teach the young minds of the many great accomplishments our Canadian Military and First responders do on a daily basis.
We here at the Portraits of Honour feel it is so important to raise awareness for the PTSD (Post Traumatic Disorder) .In doing so, we want to help people who our Veterans that are suffering with this depilating disorder.
